The Trans and Drag Women of Color
“Transformation” is a sepia ton color photographic series in honor of Drag Performers and trans women of color. The series presents a powerful, beautiful, raw, and truthful look at the transformation of Transgender women of color. The artist’s particular image tributes the leaders of the gay rights movement of the LGBTQ community, like Marsha P. Johnson who was an American gay liberation activist and self-identified, drag queen, after the uprising at the Stonewall Inn 51 years ago. This image in the Middle shows the fun part of eye shadowing and the use of transitional colors. The transitional colors intensify the crease of the eyes. Then they wing out the liner and finish with lashes.
